GAJAH BISA BICARA BAHASA KOREA??!!

Gajah di Kebun Binatang Everland di Korea Selatan yang bernama Khosik punya keahlian langka. Ia bisa bicara bahasa Korea!

Hasil penelitian yang dipublikasikan di jurnal Current Biology baru-baru ini mengonfirmasi bahwa kemampuan bicara Khosik bukan cuma isapan jempol. 

Peneliti yang membuktikan keahlian bicara gajah itu adalah Angela Stoeger-Horwath, biolog asal Austria dan Daniel Mietchen, pakar biofisika asal Jerman.

Berdasarkan penelitian, Khosik mampu bicara lima kata dalam bahasa Korea, yaitu "annyeong" (halo), "anja" (duduk), "aniya" (tidak), "nuwo" (berbaring) dan "joa" (bagus).

Yang unik, gajah menghasilkan suara dengan belalainya. Jadi, belalai gajah tak cuma berfungsi membantu aktivitas makan. 

Tidak diketahui dengan pasti apakah Khosik memahami kata-kata yang diucapkannya. Namun, gajah pintar itu bisa memberi respon pada kata-kata "anja" dan "nuwo".

Staf Kebun Binatang Everland sebenarnya juga mengatakan bahwa Khosik bisa mengatakan kata "ajik" (belum). Tetapi, kemampuan itu belum dikonfirmasi lewat penelitian.

Penelitian mengungkap, Khosik memiliki keunggulan dalam mengucapkan vokal. Akurasi penngucapan vokal mencapai 67 persen sementara konsonan 21 persen.

Khosik adalah satu-satunya gajah yang ada di Kebun Binatang Everland. Peneliti menduga, gajah ini belajar bicara karena kesepian, terpisah dengan gajah lainnya sejak umur 5 tahun. 

Pawang di kebun binatang tersebut memang melatih Khosik untuk bicara. Dengan belajar bicara, Khosik dapat membina hubungan yang lebih intens dengan pawangnya.

Shim Nam-sik, profesor kedokteran hewan di Universitas Nasional Seoul mengatakan bahwa gajah memang mungkin meniru suara manusia.

"Dalam kasus Koshik, level keintiman antara dirinya dan pawangnya menjadi faktor kunci yang membuat gajah ini bisa bersuara seperti manusia," katanya seperti dikutip AP, Jumat (2/11/2012).

Kim Jong-gab, kepala pawang dan pelatih Koshik, mengatakan bahwa Khosik sebenarnya malu-malu saat pertama datang ke kebun binatang. Para pelatih akhirnya sering tidur di area yang sama untuk membantu membina kedekatan.

Kim mengatakan, kini timnya akan melatih Khosik untuk mengucapkan kata-kata romantis, "Saranghae" alias "Aku Cinta Kamu".

Eiffel Tower was named after its designer, engineer  Gustave Eiffel. It was built in 1889 and it was the tallest building in the world until 1930. It is 1063 feet including the antenna. The Eiffel Tower has been used as transmission tower for FM and TV since 1957.

           Paris is famous for its products like perfume, cosmetic,fashion, and leather goods. Paris has become the center of the world’s fashion and mode. There are many designers live there. There are about 3.500.000 people living in this metropolitan area. They love fashion , they are polite, and warm. The men are romantic and the women are beautiful and fashionable.

JOKO WIDODO

Joko Widodo is one of Indonesian politican who was the governor of Jakarta and now becomes the elected president of Indonesia. He was born on June 21^st 1961. He is universally known as Jokowi, the abbreviation of his full name.

          Before Jokowi become the governor of Jakarta, he had become the mayor of Solo. His vice governor was Basuki Tjahaja Purnama who is usually known as Ahok. Now, he was the elected president of Indonesia who will rule Indonesia with his vice elected president, Jusuf Kalla. He won 53% vote at the election from his rival, Prabowo Subianto and Hatta Rajasa on July 22^nd 2014. He will be declared as Indonesian’s president on October 2014

          Many people have chosen him because they want a real change that leads to better goverment. They are tired with the old goverment. They like Jokowi because he pays more attention to little people.
